Violetta began studying harp at the age of six after falling in love with the instrument at a Renaissance Faire. Since then, she has performed as Principal Harp in workshop performances of Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" and Bernstein's "Trouble in Tahiti" for the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, conducted by Ryan McAdams. As a member of The New York Youth Symphony, she has performed at Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium and Weill Recital Hall), Symphony Space and The DiMenna Center in New York City. Violetta placed second in the 2011 American Strings Teachers Association National Competition. She was an honoree in the 2009 American String Teachers Association of New Jersey Solo Strings Competition and the 2010 Solo Harp Competition of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Harp Society. Violetta has appeared on the MTV show "Silent Library" and in an interactive web ad for "Emirates" airline.
Violetta has performed at many weddings and bridal showers in prestigious New Jersey and New York event facilities including Marina del Rey in the Bronx, Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, Snuffy's Pantagis Renaissance in Scotch Plains, Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, The Addison Park in Aberdeen, The Valley Regency in Clifton, The Chart House in Weehawken, Amanda's in Hoboken, Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove, The Wilshire Grand Hotel, The Manor and Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, The Women's Club of Upper Montclair, The Bethwood in Totowa and La Reggia in Secaucus. She is equally comfortable performing ceremonies in church, parties in private homes, and has also played in-house corporate events. Violetta was a featured performer at The Medieval Festival of New Jersey in Long Valley and The Harp Festival of Philadelphia 2009.
Violetta is currently a student of Susan Jolles at the Manhattan School of Music.
